There are many ways to connect with one’s artistic side and Fayetteville, North Carolina offers its community many opportunities to do so. Are you an inspiring poet, lover of local art or a jazz guru? No matter what type of art you’re intrigued by, you’re sure to find it here in Fayetteville!
Artists of all mediums are united during the Fayetteville Art Attack located at Rock Shop Music Hall. Here you will find stage performers, poets and artists who will be painting, creating and selling their art during the performances. This event takes place on several Wednesdays throughout August, September and October.
As fall begins to arrive, throughout the months of September and October you can enjoy a hot cup of coffee while listening to local and regional poets perform their work at The Coffee Scene during Poetry Night. On the first Friday of September and October you can also hear local performers present their work during the Spoken Verses: An Open Mic Showcase at The Coffee Scene.
Lastly, take a trip back in time for Live Jazz nights at The Speakeasy. These live music nights are free – with no cover charge, and take place throughout August, September and early October.
Be sure to keep the love of art alive by taking advantage of these artistic opportunities offered by our community!
