Marketfair Mother’s Day Gift Guide

ICYMI: Mother’s Day is just around the corner! We’ve rounded up some great gift ideas from our Marketfair stores, perfect for every type of mom in Fayetteville and beyond! Make sure you plan ahead to have something special for mom this year.

For the Adventurous Mom: Hiking and camping season is upon us – surprise your nature-loving mom with a new pair of hiking boots or a tent for the upcoming summer season.

For the Movie-Obsessed Mom: Spend some quality time together with a one-on-one trip to the movies. If you’re an Amy Schumer fan, you’ll love her mother-daughter adventure in “Snatched,” coming out Mother’s Day weekend at Carmike Cinemas.

For the Active Mom: If your mom never misses her afternoon walk around the neighborhood, there’s no better way to say, “Keep up the hard work!,” than with a membership from Planet Fitness!

For the Indulgent Mom: Satisfy your mom’s sweet tooth with a candy gift basket. Rocky Fizz puts together a variety of gift baskets such as the “nostalgia” gift basket, which is sure to tug at her heartstrings.

For the Relaxed Mom: Thank your mom for all those times she’s pampered you by returning the favor. A manicure-pedicure treatment is the perfect way to spoil her!

For the Foodie Mom: If your mom is a foodie who loves snapping pictures of her food, treat her to excellent fine dining Indian experience at Marketfair’s newest restaurant, Tandoori Bites.

Bluegrass & BBQ Event Benefitting FTCC

You can’t beat a night with good music and great food! Don’t miss the Fayetteville Technical Community College Foundation’s Bluegrass & BBQ event Thursday, April 26 from 6 to 9 p.m. This community event will include a silent auction, raffle, live music and dance lessons from Roland’s Dance Studio – so bring your dancing boots and the whole family along, too!

The Bluegrass & BBQ event is held by the FTCC Foundation to support Fayetteville Technical Community College, which offers over 200 programs of study. FTCC helps students find the right program for them to support the technical, commercial, industrial and health needs of Fayetteville and our surrounding areas. Funds raised at the event will go toward providing student scholarships, so you can enjoy a fun night out while investing in the future of our community!
